Well this is my latest weaving project. It’s my first attempt at viking leg wraps and it’s coming along nicely. I am weaving them in single ply and the white weft is my own drop spindled, handspun, icelandic wool. I’m very excited to be creating fabrics or an approximation there of that have not been made for some time. When these are finished as each of them will be several meters long I will be having a go at spinning some meters of fabric to make something out of. Though in the weather we are having right now and thick wool blanket might be the go.
